Effective March 19, Member Share Grocery Program hours at our three UP Centers located in Orlando, Indian River County and St. Lucie County will transition to be Monday - Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., with our Orlando and St. Lucie County locations also operating Sundays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. To streamline our operations to focus on the increased need at our main Indian River UP Center, our satellite grocery program located in South Vero Beach will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.

As we continue to focus on serving the community during this increased time of need, our programs remain available to low-income families.

Inaugural BBQ, Blues and Bike Fest

On Monday, May 25, 2020, United Against Poverty of St. Lucie County will host a one-of-a-kind charity festival, the BBQ, Blues and Bike Fest to celebrate Memorial Day at Veterans Memorial Park in Fort Pierce. This unique celebration will serve both to unite the community around food, music, and motorcycles, while benefitting much needed services that help give hard working families a hand up out of poverty and to economic self-sufficiency. We would love to have you join us and be a voice for the 56,924 households in St. Lucie County that struggle to make ends meet. All funds raised from sponsorships and vendor registration fees will support United Against Poverty’s educational courses tailored to helping individuals take on the personal responsibility to build a prosperous life for themselves, their family, and their community.
