Introducing Our New CEO

United Against Poverty is thrilled to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Gwendolyn D. Butson.

She has extensive executive management experience and holds a Masters in Business Administration. Gwen’s demonstrated compassion is accompanied by her keen interest in the areas of strategy, accountability and succession planning, the hallmarks of an effective CEO. Her passion for the non-profit industry is evident in her dedication to the employees, the participants, and the communities she’s served.

“It is an honor and a privilege to lead an organization whose efforts create and sustain change in the lives of those it serves, impacting generations to come,” Gwen said. “I look forward to bringing a fresh perspective and working with our dedicated and passionate team to build on the achievements already accomplished by United Against Poverty.”
