Volunteer Spotlight: Fraternity Spreads Brotherly Love

Many think fraternities and sororities are only for college-aged youth…but these relationships extend far beyond graduation. We are so thankful to the Delta Lambda Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.(aka the “Treasure Coast Signmas”) for their ongoing commitment to bettering the community. Each year the Sigmas select projects that focus on serving humanity, and UP has been fortunate to receive both gifts of financial support and service from the brothers. Over the holiday season, the group bagged 100 turkeys and sides—allowing our program participants to enjoy a dignified and traditional holiday meal in their own home. Way to go!
